Republican Party Rules & By-Laws

All the activities of the Republican Party, such as recruiting of members and candidates as well as fundraising, are governed by Arkansas law.

We must also follow the Republican Party of Arkansas Rules and local Faulkner County Rules. We use Robert’s Rules for parliamentary procedure.

These local Rules (May 2022) govern the Faulkner County Republican Committee.

Here’s a shorthand version of Robert’s Rules for your use in our meetings.

The current state-wide Rules, as approved by the 2024 State Convention, govern our Party, including activities, fund-raising, and elections of public officials and Party officers,
These principles form the planks that together make up the Republican Party platform, as approved by the 2024 State Convention.

Past Years:

The 2022 Party platform has been revised at each Biennial State Convention for the last few Convention cycles.

The 2019 version of the RPA Rules governed the Party for five years.

The 2009 version of the Faulkner County Republican Committee Rules governed the County Committee for 13 years.

These Rules governed the specifics of the 2022 State Convention, including credentials, Rules changes, appeals, etc.
